This Privacy Policy describes how InstaSaver ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects information when you visit instasaver.click or use our Instagram content backup tool. By using the site you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide

InstaSaver does not ask you to create an account. The only direct input we receive is the Instagram URL you paste into the downloader. That URL is used solely to fetch the requested media and is not stored on our servers after the request completes.

1.2 Information collected automatically

Log data: our servers record standard access logs including IP address (anonymised after 30 days), browser user agent, referring page and timestamp. We use this only for security monitoring and aggregate analytics.
Cookies: we use a small number of first-party cookies to remember your cookie consent choice and to measure page performance. Third-party cookies are set by our advertising and analytics partners.
Analytics: we use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views and understand which guides are most useful. We do not track you across other websites.

2. How we use information

To deliver the downloader service you request.
To detect and prevent abuse, bots and attempts to circumvent Instagram's rate limits.
To improve our content and user experience based on aggregate page-view data.
To serve advertising that keeps InstaSaver free.

Access logs are retained for 30 days and then either deleted or fully anonymised. We do not retain the Instagram URLs you submit after the download is complete. Aggregated, non-identifying analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, the right to object to processing, and the right to data portability. To exercise these rights, email contact@instasaver.click with the subject line "Privacy request".

7. Children's privacy

InstaSaver is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. International users

InstaSaver is operated from the European Union. By using the site, users outside the EU consent to the transfer of their information to the EU where our servers are located.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest version. Significant changes will be highlighted on the homepage for at least seven days.
